4 Hours of Le Castellet: podium for Hugo and his team!

This weekend, Hugo and his team competed in the 4 Hours of Le Castellet. Started on 5th position on the starting grid, United Autosports‘ No. 32 car finished third on the podium at the end of a race full of twists.

Hugo de Sadeleer took yesterday the departure of the 4 hours of Le Castellet under a burning sun. Despite an excellent start, Hugo was quickly put into difficulty by a competitor in a collision. Relegated to twenty-second place after the shock, Hugo then made a fantastic comeback before leaving the steering wheel to Will Owen then to the experienced Portuguese driver Filipe Albuquerque. He finally managed to hoist the single-seater number 32 to the third position. A great reward for the team work realized by all Team United Autosports.

The struggle for the title remains tight as United Autosports placed his Ligier JS P217 driven by Filipe Albuquerque, Hugo de Sadeleer and Will Owen on the last step of the podium. The Team made a huge progress after a spin of the Swiss in start of the race which was struck by the Dallara Cetilar Villorba Corse of Andrea Belicchi.

LAST UPDATE : The n°32 United Autosports Ligier was given a post race penalty for not respecting the speed limit during the Full Course Yellow period and this dropped the team back to 5th behind the no39 Graff Oreca-Gibson of Enzo Guibbert, Paul Petit and Eric Trouillet, which was classified in 3rd, with the no23 Panis Barthez Competition Ligier of Nathanael Berthon, Fabien Barthez and Timothe Buret in 4th.
