Motorland Aragon, a spectacular second race for Hugo

After a promising debut at Imola in Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS, during the first meeting of the season in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 at Motorland Aragon, the young Swiss driver confirmed the hopes that had been placed in him.

Setting off close to the top 10, Hugo had a promising first round, managing to gain nearly 7 places by the end of the test. Unfortunately for him, his great performance couldn’t be turned into a point, because of a bump.

Penalised during the second race for the bump during his previous run, Hugo showed himself to be angry on the track. By adopting a very offensive strategy, the young Swiss driver manager to gain ten positions and finally crossed the line in 16th place.

There was a third race on the programme of the meeting at Motorland Aragon. During this one Hugo performed well, making the most of it to climb six positions.
