Hugo’s news from Monza circuit just before Le Mans !

Hugo is giving us some news from Monza, having tough days but remaining confident concerning next step at Le Mans :

Hugo said : “Yesterday was a tough day starting 4th and finishing in 6th. Filipe Albuquerque and Will Owen Racing both had strong drives and I was happy with my performance.

The team worked hard all weekend and pit stops were flawless. We took a big gamble by pitting early during the first Virtual Safety Car, and unfortunately that strategy didn’t play out. We probably lost 2 places because of it. The Oreca’s were also clearly the faster cars, making it nearly impossible to overtake in the straights.

The weekend didn’t go the way we wanted but Monza is a fast track and it will help us learn for what is coming up at Le Mans.

The team will now regroup and learn from our mistakes. We will come back stronger! Currently 2nd overall in the championship. Thanks to my partners: Aguila Ammunition and Karita Interactive for the support.

ELMS Monza – Sunday

Not the result we wanted but we learnt a lot and we are now looking forward to Le Mans. Check out our ELMS Monza weekend! #BeUnited
