It’s official! Having made it through the selection tests for the 2012 BMW Talent Cup, I’m excited and honoured to say that I’ll be competing in this year’s competition. It will be a great learning experience for me, and a fantastic stepping stone towards the highest level of motorsport.

From theoretical approaches to intensive test drives, the promising young talents selected will learn everything they need in order to become competitive racing drivers.
The BMW Talent Cup season includes:
• 18 races over six meetings, with the grand final forming part of the DTM event in Oschersleben, in front of more than 200,000 spectators.
• Fitness and physical preparation camps
• A data analysis course
• Personalised mental coaching and regular follow-ups
• Nutritional training and regular follow-ups
• Personalised media coaching, to prepare the drivers for dealing with the press
No fewer than eight current Formula 1 drivers learned the ropes in BMW Motorsport driving schools. They are: 2010/2011 world champion Sebastian Vettel; Nico Rosberg; Sébastien Buemi; Nicolas Hulkenberg; Bruno Senna; Adrian Sutil and Timo Glock.
The prize for the winner is the full support of BMW Motorsport to compete in the ATS Formula 3 Cup 2013.
