Hugo De Sadeleer to compete entire GT World Challenge Europe with R-MotorSport
R-Motorsport have confirmed that Hugo de Sadeleer will remain with the team for the entire 2020 Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe including the Total 24 Hours of Spa- Francorchamps.
He will compete in the Silver Cup category and for the first time in the Pro class. After early successes in formula racing, he switched to the LMP2 category in the European Le Mans Series in 2017. De Sadeleer had an impressive season, scoring two wins and an additional podium to finish second overall. In 2018, he came third in the LMP2 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In 2019, de Sadeleer competed for R-Motorsport in the Blancpain GT Wor1d Challenge Europe and finished second in the Silver Cup classification. In 2020, the young Swiss driver will compete for Motorsport in both the GT World Challenge Europe and the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
Hugo will be joined by Germany’s Max Hofer and the UK’s Ricky Collard for tho Blancpain GT World Challenge Endurance races in Silver Cup. Hugo’s teammate for the Sprint races in the PRO class has yet to be announced. For the Total 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, he will be joined by Ricky Collard and an unannounced driver.
